OathBlade Dragon Age: The Veilguard Review

I wouldn’t call this game a “return to form”, but it is still a great BioWare game. The combat is fantastic, with a wide array of skills to unlock that really create a unique experience in gameplay. The world itself is also rich to explore, but easily manageable due to the structure of the narrative; so you’re never feeling overwhelmed, yet exploring off the beaten path is always rewarding. The only real complaint I have is its dialogue. The writing isn’t the strongest—and some character interactions are cringe. With that said, there are also moments where the dialogue shines, specifically with Solas and a few other party members. Overall, I am having a blast with this game and I strongly recommend it if you’re a fan of BioWare and RPGs.
