Oballity Fortnite: Battle Royale Review

May 19, 2025
Literally a crypto miner. This game barely runs at 20 fps, yet I can run both Cyberpunk 2077 with the best graphic options + full raytracing AND google chrome with 200+ tabs open at the same time and Cyberpunk will run at 120 fps minimum, so it's not just my computer. Fortnite graphics also look like total garbage, with poorly merged assets and solid color textures. Moderation team also doesn't exist, I've had quite a few matches end with me getting shot through walls and by people who are straight up invisible. They seriously transformed this game into a Roblox knock-off and the worst part is that with so many gamemodes, they rarely pay attention to the one that started it all, Fortnite: Save the World. Many of the user created maps are just reskins of pre-existing maps or free templates while some just take advantage of the terrain generator and call it a day. Lastly, what would a game be without some sort of a subscription? That's right, a decent game. Unfortunately that's not the case since Fortnite Crew is for sale in the shop. Speaking of Fortnite Crew, there is little to no effort put into the monthly skins these days. Once apon a time when the Crew subscription was first released, they had a couple original skins and a couple iconic skins from franchises like Marvel. Nowadays the skins are bland, generic, color-swapped skins that a whole community of players dislike. Overall, this game fell off big time.
