Ovo FANTASIAN Neo Dimension Review

Story and animations are not bad but pretty much what you can expect from mobile games. Music and combat are excellent though. I play it on hard. I don't really grind at all, but I do almost all the exploration, which naturally provides a certain amount of training. So, despite probably being at the intended level and having all the gear you can have at any given time, the game is actually hard when it comes to the story bosses. And hard in the sense that you simply wouldn't get very far in casual play. You have to know the enemies' gimmicks, adjust your gear accordingly, think of a good strategy, and, above all, make as few mistakes as possible (like accidentally choosing the wrong ability). You also have to make use of both items and abilities to get through reasonably well. And despite all that, the fights can be relativlely long. Including trial and error, they can easily take 20-40 minutes. But it's never unfair either. The introduction to the characters and their abilities is relatively slow-paced and demonstrated when needed, so you can't really miss anything if you pay attention. And an instant death attack hasn't occurred yet. Mobs, on the other hand, are as easy as mobs should be. I haven't encountered any optional bosses yet. It's perhaps the best-balanced turnbased game I've played to date.
