Parabolee Phantom Fury Review

I absolutely adore this game! It's Half Life 2 meets Perfect Dark with a dash of Duke Nukem. I even like it better than it's brilliant predecessor Ion Fury. Ignore the haters, it's likely this game launched with too many bugs and that alone lead to so many poor scores. But after a few patches that is simply no longer the case. Had it launched in it's current condition I expect it would have reviewed far better. I experienced only a few tiny bugs. The gameplay is really fun, very satisfying shooting, awesome level diversity, every location feels like a real place rather than a map with a skin. Enemies are not bullet sponges, even in hard mode you can kill everything quickly with the right weapon or well aimed shots. Headshots will kill in one for enemies with no head armor for example. Had this game come out the same year as Half Life it would have been a serious contender for game of the year! It's going to make my list of favourite shooters that is for sure.
