pezpimp Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown Review

I was pleasantly surprised by this game as I was not expecting much. I just wanted a nice side scrolling game as I had not played one in some time and really enjoy them. But this game really delivers and to think it almost flew under my radar. I was expecting a 3D open world Prince of Persia game but this is a 2D side scroller, if that is preventing you from trying it out, I think it's a big mistake as the game is really excellent. The graphic design is great and the mechanics and gameplay are just excellent. There is a lot here and how they use the environment and still create new ways to play is quite incredible. The powers are cool, the fighting is very well done, it is difficult at times in both the battle and the platforming, but I really enjoyed it. The voice acting is also great and the story progression is excellent with minimal loading even on Switch. As a bonus it works for younger players although the platforming and some of the battles may prove too challenging. There is a very easy mode, which is nice for those who prefer it.
