Pixel Crit Final Fantasy III Review

In these opening three games, you can clearly see an attempt to build and improve on each game. Visually, everything gets a little bit better. The music throughout the games is getting stronger, adding more impact to story moments. Town designs, as well as dungeons, are becoming more complex. Stories are better written, with better characters coming in and out of the narrative. Outside of the levelling system being changed, which is admittedly a pretty big difference, Final Fantasy is a consistent series at this point, focusing on steadily improving itself. Three games in, we can see those small improvements, but the series has yet to make its first big leap.
