Pongy 13 Sentinels Aegis Rim Review

A very original game, combining beautiful visual novel with mecha strategic battles. The story follows a multitude of characters that deal with mysteries (weird dreams, time-travel, robots, etc.) and is non-linear, which could be confusing for the inattentive player but ultimately captivating, as plot twists are uncovered throughout the game. Art style is gorgeous and makes it feel like we're playing inside a painting. The mecha battle system is well-thought, accessible enough to be understood by players that mostly want to focus on the story, while offering enough customization options for the ones that are seeking to optimize their end-game. This is a product of love and it shows.
