Pongy Star Ocean: The Second Story R Review

A rather short JRPG with a beautiful 2.5D art style. Scenario is bland, but gameplay and level-up mechanics quite original, although sometimes badly managed (I haven't used half of the practical skills). Music is okay (imo the best was the credits one...). A lot of characters to add to the party, and some interaction scenes between them, but very superficial. Lots of good ideas though: animals to travel the 3D map easier, choice to attract or avoid enemies, auto-clear of the weakest enemies. As somebody that isn't blinded by nostalgia, this is a flawed but still enjoyable experience.
