Pongy Fire Emblem: Three Houses Review

Dec 27, 2024
You play as a new teacher in a monastery to train different characters from one of the three houses in the game, representing every power in the region. Half of the game is heavily Persona-inspired with the time-management mechanics and the social links, and the other mostly focused on the fights. Battles are strategic but the game is not hard, just the right dose to be addictive without becoming boring. Scenario is not perfect, endgame feels a bit rushed, the relationships progression feels useless, but otherwise the 60 hours necessary to complete the adventure were very enjoyable. Solid gameplay, nice graphics (for the Switch), some interesting characters, good rhythm between the different bits of the game.
