PPko Metroid Prime Remastered Review

An absolute classic, now even better with updated graphics, quality-of-life improvements, and multiple control options. It brilliantly takes everything that made Super Metroid great and expands it into a rich, three-dimensional world. The 3D map is almost a game unto itself—unraveling its intricate hallways and chambers to access new areas is incredibly satisfying. While it’s possible to get lost at times, the new hint system helps keep things on track. Exploring every nook and cranny for hidden items and solving clever puzzles never gets old. The combat is solid, and most boss encounters are thrilling and memorable. Minor nitpicks aside, this is a near-perfect experience—absolutely worth revisiting or playing for the first time.
