Dark Deity is a kind of RPG-novella, alternating between images and pixelated animations, with a well-developed story that doesn’t surprise at all.
The game itself isn’t bad. It’s easy to play, offers room to increase strategy and difficulty, but it severely lacks appeal.
Let’s say it’s a game you play slowly, with no real expectations. And, in the end, you can feel there was some care put into its creation.
That said, the price is ridiculously high. I recommend it with zero enthusiasm, and only if it’s in a HUGE sale. Otherwise, it’s not worth it.
