And I believe the main reason is that I'm not a player who looks for heavy challenges, and this genre is usually quite difficult. If I remember correctly, the only one I finished and LOVED was Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. Anyway, taking all of that into consideration, 9 Years of Shadows was a very pleasant discovery, and I managed to spend 5 hours on it trying to progress. Which is a lot for someone who usually avoids this type of game. I managed to defeat several bosses, the story is interesting, and the art seems wonderful to me. Not to mention the soundtrack. Sadly, I got stuck on a boss that I just can't beat, and I don't feel like continuing to try. But, for those who like the genre, I highly, highly recommend it!
