Pvenetto Fortnite: Battle Royale Review
Jul 7, 2025
Without a doubt, one of the most miserable experiences I've had playing a video game. This is the only game that I've ever played that is not optimized for ANY system you play it on. The game runs terribly despite whatever game mode you choose and is a complete mess. The only thing that this game has to offer is microtransactions at ridiculous prices. Fortnite went from being a fun and original title to "Market Capitalism Simulator". This game is completely shameless in the way it introduces it's unoriginal concepts and despicable excuses of "appropriate" music. For the last year or so, I've played strictly "Fortnite Festival" because the battle royale is absolutely abysmal, the lego mode has the worst user interface imaginable, and rocket racing lacks any creativity. It's a shame though, despite somewhat enjoying festival, it became painfully obvious to me that the only reason I found the mode to be enjoyable is because it's a pathetic knockoff of beloved franchises such as Guitar Hero and Rock Band. The song selection in festival disgusts me, they will slap whatever popular TikTok audio that's available into the game and call it a day, and when it isn't that, it's songs that have far too provocative lyrics to be considered acceptable for a Teen rated game, with that being said, there IS censorship, but it's done so poorly that you end up not getting to hear half of the song you're attempting to play. This makes the experience of festival to be severely unenjoyable with confusing song charts. In conclusion, I have every reason to believe that Epic Games does not care what their player base actually wants, abandoning any form of originality, and instead they do whatever they can to generate as much revenue as possible off of young children that make up well over 70% of their player base.
