Pythz Marvel's Wolverine Review
Sep 25, 2026
It’s hard to deny: Marvel’s Wolverine is a refreshing addition to the Insomniac Games catalog and an intriguing offering as a PS5 exclusive. The studio has successfully adapted its usual formula into something more linear, yet intimate and enjoyable once you pick up the controller—a game sure to satisfy both the curious and fans of the man with the claws.
It hasn’t forgotten to apply the lessons learned from its previous titles. Remarkable graphics, a charismatic character, and even the shift toward a co-op dynamic—both in storytelling and gameplay—which was particularly well-received in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. Despite a few minor flaws, the quick learning curve, the impactful gameplay, and the narrative make this installment an engaging experience that kept me captivated until the very end.
With such an immersive experience playing as Logan, it’s clear that we’re now eager to discover a future Marvel’s Wolverine 2 that would build on everything established in this installment, while addressing its few shortcomings and taking the adventure to an even higher level.
