Raydynn Big Hops Review

I find myself confused as to who this game is aimed at because the aesthetic of the game would suggest children as the target demographic but the story deals with themes of lying, betrayal and manipulation (even if the writing is plain and on the nose), on the other end if you are an adult the platforming is ok at best, there isn't anything in the way of difficulty or deep platforming tech to learn and experience. That's not to say that the platforming is bad, it takes the template of other 3D platformers (mainly Mario Oddesey) and waters it down, and the "Unique tongue mechanic" that critics praise is is mostly a quick hook that has been present in other 3D platforming games since the mid 2000s. In conclusion the game is just very "ok" and that's the main issue with it, everything is executed to a very medium level and nothing stands out.
