Revolvere Monster Hunter Wilds Review

I'm relatively new to the Monster Hunter franchise but this game is easily in my top 5 favorite games of all time. Everything is so streamlined in terms of gameplay. It's super easy to pick up and learn all of the mechanics. There's almost zero downtime. You're always in some action or doing something to improve or customize your build, weapons and armor. The combat is super engaging. It's so much fun learning how to master each weapon and defeating each monster. Finding a group to fight any specific monster is really quick and easy to do. It's like the gameplay loop was boiled down to a science. The graphics are great at 4K max settings, and the music is phenomenal. I'll admit that the performance is a bit rough at times but there are enough settings and upscaling options to dial in your desired FPS. The gameplay itself more than makes up for the performance in my opinion. It's been a while since I've picked up a game that I did not want to stop playing. I look forward to playing a couple hundred hours or more! Highly recommend this game.
