Rikku The Alters Review

The Alters is a very good mix of story-driven adventure and light colony management. Its base-building systems aren’t especially deep — maybe challenging for someone new to the genre, but nothing close to the complexity of something like Oxygen Not Included. Where the game truly stands out is in its personal side: the relationships you build with different versions of yourself, each one shaped by a different path you could have taken. It’s a game best experienced knowing as little as possible, letting its ideas and characters unfold naturally. And it’s one that invites replaying, exploring every variation and possibility. A memorable, thoughtful experience.
