Rohan332 The Callisto Protocol Review

Feb 11, 2026
𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘊𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘰 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘰𝘤𝘰𝘭 wasn't a bad at the start. I found myself slightly confused, as I have never heard of this game, nor knew the plot of the story. The quick dive into the story, didn't help my confusion. Nevertheless, I continued playing, assuming I would soon get a grasp. I also honestly, enjoyed the suspense, the why's, and the unravelment of the story. However, that being said, there were major points, which held the experience back. I found it to be a slow progress, which might not have been as bad, if it sped up over time. Throughout the game, it felt like the progress just kept getting slower. Moreover, towards the end of the story, I found myself having to stop, to take breaks. Not because I had been playing too long, but instead because it felt like the same repetitive content. Now, I'm aware that it's one game. So of course, it's going to be the same, right? No in my opinion, stories need to have gradual elements to it. Meaning one section of the story, could have really fun and cinematic fighting scenes. The next section could include more background information, making for a slow, but crucial part of the story. Simply put, I just don't think this game has diverse enough elements to the story. All it feels like is sneaking, with occasional fighting that feels slow, and clunky. All the weapons that can be unlocked, are a bigger, disappointment each time. The upgrades are expensive, to have practically no positive effect. Initially I found the key-binds to be a bit odd, but after a bit of playtime, I found them to make sense. One redeeming quality is just how cinematic this game is, the design of HUD is rather clever. Furthermore, during fights, it felt like a cutscene, which I really appreciated. All things considered, I don't think in good faith I can recommend you spend your hard-earned money, on 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘊𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘰 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘰𝘤𝘰𝘭. Unless there is a sale, and personally if not for the fact I got this game for free, I would've returned it.
