Ryokeen Pokémon Pokopia Review

This is a fantastic game for fans of ANY of the following franchises as it borrows and builds on so many of the best aspects of these games: DQB2, ACNH, Minecraft, and of course Pokemon. The gameplay loops is wildly addictive. I end every play session with a massive list of things I hope to do, not in the sometime dull or effortdul way ACNH does but in a wildly compelling way. Even though on paper it sounds like you're not doing anything but chores, in reality there some key story, environmental story telling, or ability-laden reason to keep doing. And at every turn the game gives you new ways to do things so that it never becomes dull or laborious. I am now no longer sure if this or DKB is my favorite Switch 2 game. This is now the leader in my GOTY list. And it's hard to image what will topple it this year.
