Schniggo RENNSPORT Review
Jan 17, 2026
TLDR: Recommended for people looking for stable multiplayer and good netcode. Single player isn't worth looking at right now, but community integration is very nice (and personally motivates me lol).
Pros:
- Multiplayer is extremely stable, very good netcode and crash physics.
- Reporting system that actually works (via Discord, people can be banned, and you are notified of the outcome of the report, in my experience within 2 weeks)
- Fixed setups are very drivable, but also very dependent on driving style
- Very short loading times
- Leagues and general integration of the community (and creators) into the game
- Discord is incredibly good. You can ask questions there and get answers from the team or from other people, and maybe even information about upcoming features (as long as the team is allowed to talk about them, of course)
Cons:
- Many people are upset about the penalty system, as it penalises both cars equally. If someone rams you, you both get penalty points, which is obviously not fair (unfortunately, computers are very bad at assigning blame).
- Single player is there... but very poor. The AI is still in beta and the options are very limited (but RENNSPORT has always wanted to focus on multiplayer).
- Some sounds and setups are still really bad (M2 and Praga sound really unpleasant, Porsche Cup setup is also extremely bad. In general, the sound often lacks rawness and power, but the baseline is okay).
- The game still has too many bugs and crashes too often (apparently also very dependent on the system, more for some, less for others).
- Content is very limited for the current price. The base game has 18 cars and 13 tracks, which is quite expensive for 50€ (the Deluxe version for 70€ is slightly better with 19 cars and 14 tracks + 10€ in-game currency + 2 DLCs with approx. 7 cars and one track (DLC content not yet confirmed)).
- No multiplayer available in the demo (I would have liked to see at least unranked multiplayer).
