sesamstrxsse A Way Out Review

Jan 17, 2025
First of all, I would like to point out how unique this game is. The co-op splitscreen mode is something I never saw In any other games. But, what I think is even more important then the co-op concept in general is the usage of different game mechanics in solo-scenes as well. Overall the co-op mechanics like the quick time events or the boat driving... The list just really goes on forever. The game just overthrows the concept of conventional co-op games through rethinking what co-op really means. The game takes a step away from the classic puzzle solving scheme and instead focuses on something new. The usage of the splitscreen is top tier and the overall co-op experience is like something you have never experienced before. I cant really dig further into the co-op part, you just gotta give it a try. Aside from the overall gameplay, the story is pretty well build but sadly doesnt really come together in a great way. I I also think that the gameplay felt a bit strechted at some parts, allthough other people might not think so. Like I said: you just gotta try it SPOILER: The plottwist is sadly kind of disconnected to what happens in the game and lacks some logic overall.
