Shingen The Survivalists Review

At first glance, it seems like a great game, with cute design, interesting mechanics for interacting with monkeys, and even a story, albeit just for show, but still there. But how does it actually play? The crafting is stifling, the monkeys' intelligence leaves much to be desired, but that seems logical... However, when your monkey says "there are no trees left" when there's still a whole forest nearby, or when your monkey decides to lose a chest with a ton of resources, it's incredibly annoying. The NPC quests are also quite stifling and boring, and all of this together simply makes the game feel uninspiring. I finished the game, but by the end, I was barely enjoying it and wanted to finish it.
