shl0opy World of Warships Review
Nov 23, 2025
I played World of Warships for about two hours, and that was enough to know how I feel. It’s not a bad game, it’s just not my kind of game.
The basic mechanics are easy to understand, and everything you need at the start is clear. But once the game introduces deeper systems, upgrades, and layers of details, I just didn’t have the energy for it. Not because it’s too complicated, I’m simply not a “realistic military vehicles” person.
The battles are slow. Not painfully slow, just not the kind of pace that makes me want to queue for “one more”. Firing the cannons is fun for a while, but not enough to keep me invested.
Visually, the game is impressive: good-looking ocean, nice colors, well-designed ships. Everything feels polished and intentional.
After two hours I told myself, “Okay, this isn’t for me,” and closed the game. No meaningful moment, no big win, no frustration — just a pleasant, forgettable experience.
I get why people love it, especially if they’re into competitive online games, ships, military realism, or long-term grind. But I’m not. It didn’t make me want to improve, and it didn’t spark anything beyond “this is mildly fun.”
World of Warships is a good game that gave me no reason to stay.
