Shuanshuan Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter Review

Full disclosure: The original version in 2006 is my #1 JRPG of all time. Understand this is the 2nd half of a story so you will have to start from 1st Chapter. Also understand that you will have to read a lot and let the story cook. Ok with that out of the way, buckle up and immerse yourself in an epic story unparalleled in its worldbuilding and charming cast of characters! What surprised me most is the gameplay additions added onto 1st chapter: Brave Rush, and Enforcer Boost. I don't think this was needed but I love how it emulated the addition of chain crafts from the original FC to SC. The Enforcer Booster is also a special touch that gives the baddies their imposing aura that I initially felt when I played the original as a kid. It starts out harder than 1st Chapter but you still will eventually break the game as you get more options and stronger orbments so adjust the difficulty as you see fit. 98/100 - 1 point off for being not standalone, requiring previous title or knowledge. 1 point off for awkward partial voice acting.
