Finally there is a legitimate way to play the Investigation games that were never released into English before. All of the events in the game take place outside of the series' expected battles of the courtroom. This is merely the investigative portion of cases before they go to trial. Both games are very similar in the way they play. For people who pretty more meatier games with gameplay, you might be disappointed to know this is mostly like a visual novel with a lot of dialogue. You collect evidence and use logic to find new facts or new evidence. You can also get witness/suspect statements and refute their statements with evidence. The second game introduced an interrogation method to get information out of witnesses and suspects that refuse to divulge some facts. There are new characters and returning ones. Some are directly involved, others are mostly brief appearances and cameos. This collection has updated art style, but you can choose to play using the old sprites. As with other collection type of titles, you can unlock music, art and concept designs as you play. There are also achievements.
