SilverScroll2 Star Ocean: The Second Story R Review

This is my first Star Ocean game, so I didn't really know what to expect coming in, I bought the game when it first came out but decided to play it now to break up my Final Fantasy marathon. This game is exceptional, with loveable characters, an abundance of gameplay systems that are fleshed out and interesting, deep RPG mechanics that make character building satisfying, great music and a pretty good story that does start to feel neglected in the final third of the game. The combat is utterly brilliant though, and once I got the hang of it and the games other deep systems I was hooked. Thoroughly recommend if you are a JRPG fan or looking to get into the genre.
