007 First Light tells a my favourtie Bond story of all time. Taking inspiration from all Bond generations, with writing that displays genuine appreciation and respect for the franchise, while taking freedoms to give the story many novel elements to make it perfect in the world of videogames. The gameplay feels good, leaving the player with the freedom to choose how to approach each mission, with one of the best close combat systems out there. Choosing to limit the usage of guns to live or death situations was very wise.
