Its outstanding combat system—featuring a focus on perfect parries, flexible weapon assembly, versatile Legion Arms, and the rewarding P-Organ system—comes together seamlessly. Complementing this are creative, challenging boss battles and an atmospheric world that boasts a unique style thanks to its dark Belle Époque aesthetic. Furthermore, the Overture expansion provides key answers, making the Complete Edition particularly valuable from a narrative standpoint. While there are minor compromises in handheld mode depending on the graphics setting, the Switch 2 port is an astonishing success overall.
