SkillPoint Dispatch Review

With Dispatch, AdHoc Studio impressively demonstrates that the episodic adventure genre is far from dead. The witty superhero story, the outstanding cast, and the many likable characters ensure that you quickly grow attached to the Z-Team. The dispatcher-style gameplay also works better than expected: selecting the right heroes, managing limited availability, leveraging synergies, and dealing with randomized success probabilities lend a surprising tactical depth to the missions. Add to this significant choices, potential romances, and superb overall presentation. While replayability could be higher, that does nothing to diminish the fact that Dispatch is one of the best interactive adventures of recent years. It marks a genuine comeback for a nearly forgotten genre and is an absolute must-play for fans of Telltale Games.
