SkillPoint Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave Review

Oct 23, 2026
Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave combines familiar tactical battles with four protagonists, time travel, and a more expansive world map. The Brand techniques add a worthwhile new tactical layer, while dungeons and character-specific activities on the world map help keep things varied. The game’s greatest strength lies in how its systems work together: combat, exploration, recruitment, and character development make you eager to take on just one more mission. The story doesn’t quite live up to its potential, however, with its uneven focus on the four heroes. To understand the full picture, you have to play through the first act multiple times, and not every supporting character leaves a lasting impression. Even so, Fortune’s Weave proves just as compelling as Three Houses—and shows that four heroes can be more than enough for a great Fire Emblem adventure.
