Sky1 Crimson Desert Review

I gave this game a solid 5/5 because the core gameplay, breathtaking open world, and intense combat are simply phenomenal. Crimson Desert offers an experience that is hard to put down. Highly recommended for any action RPG fan. However, there are two main areas that desperately need improvement for it to become truly flawless: Controls: I know the developers have already patched and improved the controls once, but they still need one more round of refinement. It can still feel a bit clunky during intense moments, and a final polish would make the combat flow perfectly. Storyline: The narrative is surprisingly weak and underdeveloped compared to the incredible gameplay. It leaves a lot to be desired. Pearl Abyss really needs to release a massive, story-focused DLC to expand the lore and flesh out the narrative—much like how Cyberpunk 2077 redeemed and completed its story with the Phantom Liberty expansion. Despite these flaws, the sheer scale and fun factor make it an absolute must-play!
