Smaslen The Rise of the Golden Idol Review

A great time in my opinion. While many people have complained about the art style, I started warming up to it, and found it incredibly charming and interesting. While some of the cases were a bit disappointing, (latter half of chapter 4, mostly) there were also many highlights, like the movie theatre. The music was also another highlight for me. While the case of the golden idol’s music fir the game better, I found the music in this game much more enjoyable to listen to. This is definitely a worthy successor to case of the golden idol, just don’t go in expecting the exact same thing again.
