Snejin Genshin Impact Review
May 9, 2026
As a long-time player, it’s honestly disappointing to see the direction Genshin Impact is taking. Recent updates feel increasingly empty: weaker exploration, less memorable maps, repetitive and forgettable events, and almost no meaningful QoL improvements despite years of community feedback.
At the same time, the game keeps pushing more limited characters alongside increasingly aggressive powercreep. The latest livestream was the final straw: announcing three limited characters while only giving around 60 F2P pulls feels extremely out of touch and heavily monetization-driven.
Many players no longer feel rewarded for their loyalty, but pressured to spend constantly. Genshin used to stand out for its sense of adventure and rich content. Now, it’s becoming harder and harder to recognize what made the game special in the first place.
