Stoon Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Review

This is quite easily my GOTY for 2025, it is such a beautiful game in every aspect. The combat is continually fun, it looks and runs amazingly, the soundtracks 27 and counting weeks at the top of the classical billboards speak for itself, and the story is just magnificent. It grabs you from the very first moment and just never lets go. There are some very minor nitpicks here and there but they pail in comparison to how all around amazing of an experience this was. The only game which I think holds a candle to this in terms of writing is rdr2 and I think it is very close between the 2 which is better which is such an amazing thing to be able to say when this is the writers first game. A true triumph of the industry and JRPGs, I cannot recommend it enough.
