Sunrise Parabellum Wanderstop Review

Jun 21, 2025
At first glance, Wanderstop is a charming life sim about running a teashop with cozy visuals, relaxing music and a colorful world. Underneath, it quietly touches on themes of burnout, exhaustion, and the importance of taking care of oneself.. something I found surprisingly resonant c: The game is forgiving since you’re never punished for small mistakes + it’s a gentle reminder that it’s okay not to do everything perfectly or to fully understand everything. That said, the pacing struggles in the middle as things can get repetitive, with long stretches of dialogue, a tea-serving animation you’ll see too many times, and penguins who develop an alarming tea addiction and won’t leave you alone. Also, player choices feel inconsequential. But it comes together nicely in the end : The conclusion is satisfying and I appreciated how the game handles its message overall. In short, it’s a slow burn, not without frustrations but ultimately worth finishing. I'm going to miss Boro and Monster <3
