Tahseen Wanderstop Review
Jul 12, 2025
Wanderstop is a cosy tea making, tea drinking game with a few little elements of farming and a handful of customers to make tea for. The main loop of the game is just make tea for yourself and drink it all in.
(Also shout out C418 you're as beautiful as a the day I lost you.)
For some, this game is an allegory for burnout and a lot of people seem to resonate with the main character and her struggles. I was one of the few who didn't get it. If anything i found myself relating to the owner of the tea shop. A man who is carefree, relax and enjoys the little things. I couldn't understand why the main character was having such a rough time with just relaxing and having a cup of tea. Likewise, a majority people have said that the game play is quite boring and there is not much going on.
I felt the complete opposite. The boring loop was somewhat relaxing to me. grow crops, make tea, have a chat, sit down and have a drink. Its what I enjoy IRL to get away from the busy going ons of everyday life. Despite me not really liking the main character, I found myself rooting for her when she went for a break, stepped back and took a moment to relax. Some parts of the story were a bit "eh" but at the end I was happy with how her character turned out.
9/10 Would brew again
