Temptershell Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Review

Nov 5, 2025
From the moment you land on one of its beautifully crafted planets, visuals in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order impress: vivid locations, expressive characters, and a strong feel of the galaxy far, far away. The soundtrack is likewise superb - lightsaber hums, cosmic ambience, carefully placed musical cues that enhance emotional and action-driven moments. However, the gameplay could have been better. While the game borrows from Metroidvania and Souls-like traditions - wall runs, double jumps, force powers - many mechanics feel clunky: static objects, awkward traversal, platforming segments that don’t quite deliver. And yes, it’s another “rogue-lite / souls-like style” action game in a crowded market. I personally bounced off halfway through. The backtracking across locked zones, constant toggling between new and old locations, and enemies that often serve merely as obstacles rather than meaningful challenges wore down the experience. What promised sleek Jedi action started feeling like endless maze-running.
