tftaylor Crimson Desert Review

This game is exceptional and despite its flaws and occasionally janky performance (especially graphically), I can't stop playing. 196 hours in and I'm at about 65% completion, and my interest has yet to wane. When this game is good it's fabulous. Pearl Abyss has been incredible with their support and patch fixes. Their vision and ambition is respected and appreciated -- they pretty much nailed it. For me this is likely 2026 goty, especially because of its rocky janky launch. Something about the whole experience, including the online community, has been so charming. This game even got me to purchase ps5 pro, which I never thought I'd do. I highly recommend.
