TheSylance X4: Foundations Review

Not easy to get into but well worth the effort. I've played the X-Series since X:Beyond the Frontier in 1999 and I think X4:Foundations is the best game of the Series. You can create your own Empire or help other Factions on their way. Think, Trade, Mine, Build, Fight it is all just an "undock" away. Want to be out in space fighting giant death machines from the control stick of a small carrier-based fighter? Here you go! Want to see your fighters fight the enemy while you fly the Carrier? Here you go! Want to sit on a Staion on the other side of the System while your Fleet decimates the enemy: Here you go! Apart from Storylines (that are optional, though sometimes needed when you want access to a specific feature) and gas-mining, you can do everything either personally or just assign one of your ships to do it. Although the game is in no way bug-free, it is huge fun to play. Give it a try, it's on sale often but it is well worth its money!
