TimurL Gothic 1 Remake Review

A very weak remake of a cult game. The combat system is problematic: constant misses, mob magnetization, and enemy passivity. The AI ​​is poor, and much of the character's daily routine is lost. The design is more detailed, but it completely fails to capture the atmosphere of the original. From the orc designs, which are reminiscent of Warcraft in the remake, to the mountain fort, which now resembles elven ruins. The narrative design hasn't evolved at all compared to the original, the quests are just as simple and lacking in options; everything boils down to fetch and retrieve. I'm giving it one star solely for preserving the design of the three camps; everything else in the remake is terrible.
