Tombstonevines Life is Strange: Double Exposure Review

The relationship between Max and Chloe was a trailblazing one in the gaming landscape. When I heard that Max was returning I assumed Chloe would make and appearance as well, specially since the devs for the game claimed to have respected both endings of the original LiS.
What they actually did, however, was rob half of their fanbase of the relationship that was very precious to them: D9 broke Pricefield up, leaving many of us heartbroken and with a damaged psyche.
We might never know what went through their minds when making this decision, but given the many narrative inconsistencies in the game, I doubt anything they could say would make any sense.
This disrespect to half of the fanbase, and other issues such as a Max coming off as OOC sometimes and the overall narrative that fails to capture the emotional intensity of the original are enough to give this sequel 0 out of 5 stars.
D9 and SE broke a lot of hearts with this game, and in the process lost a good portion of the fanbase who are as valid as the players who decided to sacrifice Chloe, regardless of what these two companies think.
