This game has amazing gameplay, great roster and maps, overall a FUN multiplayer game, however the matchmaking algorithm is absolutely TERRIBLE. The matchmaking system is public and frustrating yet there are still people that refuse to admit it and will just say you're trash at the game. Matches in Marvel Rivals are definitely rigged. They use a similar system as COD, it's basically EOMM, slot machine matchmaking! Basically if you win a lot. The game will intentionally put you in bad team comps. As you'll be matched with players that main characters that have low synergy with your own. If you continue to play while losing. The game will assume that you are "happy" and continue to keep giving you those matches. While matching you with other players that are marked as "unhappy." They will have more favorable team compositions and generally better players than your teammates. To be marked as "unhappy". You basically log off for a set amount of time after losing. And then the game tries to give you enough favorable matches for a win streak. It's almost always a stomp or be stomped. Any other ranked game I have ever played I can feel myself improving and moving up in rank.
