town Mixtape Review

10/10 vibes based game and early GOTY pick My previous 2 GOTYs are Clair Obscur and Balatro. I love that games can span from almost no story, pure gameplay on Balatro to somewhere in the middle with CO:E33, and all the way to all story, limited gameplay with Mixtape. It’s what makes the medium so appealing. Not every game needs to do the same things. Not every game needs to appeal to everyone and for all situations. Mixtape told its story, had many ways to engage in its world, and got out. I don’t need every story game to drag out the experience like Life is Strange. This one is far superior for stripping everything down and just having a great core.
