Trixxstrr Donkey Kong Bananza Review

Finished up Donkey Kong Bananza last night. While I enjoyed this quite a lot, it definitely didn't match my expectations. Maybe it was the high review scores going in, or expecting it to be more like Mario Odyssey. With that one my wife really liked watching me play through and finish it and so she was excited to watch this one, but it quickly lost her interest and I ended up finishing it on my own. The levels were cool, but something about them all being underground, or the tunnelling you kept doing just made it feel cramped and claustrophobic to me. Also, I'm not one for collectibles, so I just got some side bananas as I went and skipped most of the challenge side stages. I think in the end it said I had 260 bananas. Most of the game the main bosses were super easy but the last few did give me a challenge. Some of the songs were a little too Disney for me, but whatever. It looked great and was fun to play so overall it was still really nice.
