Trixxstrr Well Dweller Review

Just finished Well Dweller. Played as one of the picks in the Game Pass Game Club where we pick games each month to play and discuss. This was the perfect style of metroidvania for me, always satisfying progression, where you don't lose anything from dying and no run backs. The art style, music, and charming characters were all perfect. There was some creepy vibes with the bosses, but nothing too scary. I played on normal and definitely had to retry some bosses a bunch of times, it wasn't frustrating to repeat, as there was always a save right next to the boss, and was doable for me. The combat was fun, and all the abilities you unlock were fun to use. The extra trickets added nice choices of what to buff and upgrade along the way. Made by a solo dev with his brother doing the music, it's super impressive, and I also really liked Crypt Custodian which they made also. I don't know exactly how long it took me to finish as my playtimes were bugged both in game and in the xbox menu, so that was the only problem I had, but overall I loved it.
