The Hoyoverse account system is an absolute joke. Don't try to change your email unless you want a headache I need to vent about how incredibly stupid Hoyoverse's system is. I’m simply trying to change the email linked to my Hoyolab account. The process should be simple: Verify old email OTP -> Verify new email OTP -> Done. But NO. After entering the code, I get the "Too many requests" error immediately. Mind you, this was my FIRST attempt. Thinking it was a glitch, I patiently waited 1-2 WEEKS to let the system cool down. The result? "Too many requests" instantly on the very first click again. Seriously? Does your server cooldown time run on a geological time scale? The worst part is Customer Service. I emailed them asking to check their server side for bugs/spam filter errors. Instead of investigating, they shoved a generic "Account Retrieval Form" in my face and told me to fill it out to prove I own the account. My account isn't lost or stolen! The problem is YOUR broken system throwing false errors. Why do I have to jump through hoops because your backend is incompetent? It’s no surprise Hoyoverse never wins any "Best Customer Support" awards. Great games, garbage support. Has anyone else been stuck in this infinite loop?
