Silent Hill Townfall is similar to Alien Isolation with better puzzles and characters, but not as much tension. The game is somewhat short, but not to its detriment. The characters and story lay the groundwork and the atmosphere is pretty good. Levels are fairly decent but I would've liked one or two more areas to explore. The game is tense at times but not really to scary, avoiding enemies that kill you in 3 hits was tense and gave me a feeling similar to alien isolation. Walking around in pipes in pitch black environments was cool as well. As far as the story its well told, I personally would like a silent hill game focused on the cult elements but this is the direction they seem to want to go in and thats fine for now. This game is good, but its missing one element that keeps it from being great.
