xilent Marvel Rivals Review

What could be a 5 star game is a 1 star experience. Fix the brain dead matchmaking system and more people will continue to play. All I play are competitive online games and this is the most watered down skill level game I've seen in while. In a shooter, with multiple characters that you don't even need to aim with, to the fact they place you on a guaranteed losing team based on your previous match wins is boring. Anyone can climb the ranks if they take the time. It's more about who they match you with than your own skill level. While this could be said about many games, Marvel Rivals takes this to all new extents purposely catering the game so low skill individuals feel better about themselves. Sorry, that's not what a competitive experience is supposed to be. Everyone doesn't get a trophy. But I understand the element of player retention so if that's the route you choose, that's fine, but that completely ruins the game imo and I'll go back to playing the games I was before
