xKaix Eternights Review

May 16, 2026
Even though the characters and story of Eternights are quite cliché, the game still manages to make you care about them through its occasional humor and beautifully touching moments. It balances moments of taking itself very seriously with witty sequences that will leave a smile on your face. Because the clichés are so well-executed, I didn't mind them in the slightest and absolutely loved playing through it. For an indie studio, the graphics are solid—more than enough and never distracting. The combat has a learning curve at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's super fun and offers plenty of variety for the game's length. Eternights is easily one of the best games I’ve played recently. I really hope Studio Sai is working on a sequel or a similar IP because, at this rate, it looks like I’ll definitely be jumping back in later to experience a different ending.
