Zugdar Valor Mortis Review

Valor Mortis sheds most of the bloat of Souls clones and has just enough new to keep it interesting. Launch had a few bugs but two weeks in most of my initial issues have been patched out but not all. Checkpoints are more generous than others so might be a little more friendly to those newer or don't like the punishment. Setting is great but the narrative could have been a little more compelling. Without giving anything away, Valor Mortis had one of the more memorable boss fights I've had in years. The only thing I wanted a little bit more was more enemy types but is otherwise one of my top 3 non-Fromsoft games in this genre.
